   I hope your healing is going well! I am glad you are still checking in, inspite of your injury! Also, never apologize for being in law enforcement! I greatly appreciate the risk you and your fellow officers take each and every day in order to protect the general public from the criminal element.
   Thanks for your positive remarks on my upcoming adventure! It is this group of online friends who have made this even remotely possible.

   That's my daughter Jessica. She earned that medal last September, and still wears it around the house sometimes! She may do a 1/2 mile trot this Saturday at the 5K I'm doing. I'll be sure to post pics if she does.

   When you commented on Dan's race, I thought maybe you were from my neck of the woods. I am originally from the Akron Ohio area... I see now you are from Michigan.

   Michigan it is, a couple of hours north of the Ohio border. I'm so happy to have found this group...everyone seems so nice, and talk about motivating!! You're all making me want to do a full marathon when I haven't even done my first half yet. Pretty sure I'm an easy hook!
